Bingzhong Xue

Research interests: Xue’s research focuses on the molecular basis of energy homeostasis, such as the central and peripheral regulation of energy balance, insulin sensitivity, lipid and cholesterol metabolism and adipocyte biology.

Xue earned a Ph.D. in nutrition with a minor in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology from the University of Tennessee and completed her post-doctoral training at Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge, La., and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of
 Harvard Medical School.
